The Agricultural department in the Assessors office is responsible for the inspection of all
properties outside the Urban Growth Boundaries. This includes farms, orchards, dairies,
vineyards, forested areas, range land, recreational and residential property.
The appraisers in the Agricultural department spend most of their time in the field inspecting
properties. However, someone from the department is usually in the office and will be available
to answer questions about your property. If you want to make an appointment to speak to an
appraiser from this department, you should call (509) 574-1100 between 9:00 and 4:30.
