Because of the many different types of property in Yakima County the three divisions of appraisers sometimes overlap in their duties. A home could be considered Residential, Commercial or even Agricultural depending on it's use. A storage building could be Commercial or Agricultural or even Resedential depending on size. These examples and hundreds more are why the seventeen appraisers in our office work so closely together. The links below will give you a better idea of the three main appraisal divisions in our office. Please follow them if you have questions or click on the links below to mail someone in our administrative division.

If you think the best way to describe your parcel is Residential, please go here.
If you think the best way to describe your parcel is Agricultural, please go here.
If you think the best way to describe your parcel is Commectial, please go here.

If you are unsure who you need to speak to, please email Jacob Tate our Property Database Coordinator or Dave Cook Your County Assessor with your question and they will be sure to get an answer to you as quickly as possible.
