The Segregation Department Deals with all segregations and/or mergers of property. They enter all of the information concerning Long Plats, Short Plats, and Short Plat Exemptions into the computer system and make the appropriate changes to the permanent mapping record of the County. These changes include all boundary line adjustments, segregation of road right of way, merger of two or more parcels, segregation and creation of child parcels from the parent as part of the overall process.
